Maximo Admin / Coordinator
Location: Fully remote; working Mountain or Central Time hours
Duration: 6 months, with potential to extend
Hours: 40 hours per week
Anticipated start: November 2, 2026
We are seeking a hands-on Maximo Admin / Coordinator to support a utility client while its transition from Maximo to IFS remains delayed. The consultant will help clear a backlog of outstanding work orders while keeping up with new orders as they come in.
Responsibilities
Review construction packets, work orders, labor hours, and material records for accuracy and completeness.
Reconcile estimates against actual labor and materials, and investigate discrepancies.
Identify and resolve common Maximo errors using established job aids and processes.
Complete one-for-one audits and follow up on missing or inconsistent information.
Track outstanding items and coordinate with the relevant teams to move orders toward completion.
Provide practical Maximo support to team members when issues arise.
Skills and experience
Hands-on experience working in IBM Maximo, particularly with work orders and related records.
Experience reviewing construction documentation, labor, and material information.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work through a backlog without losing track of incoming work.
Clear communication and the ability to work independently in a remote team.
Relevant experience at either the Admin/Coordinator I level (up to 5 years) or Admin/Coordinator II level (5-10 years).
This role is focused on Maximo administration and order cleanup. Scheduling is not the primary responsibility.
