Senior Software Developer - Medical / Safety-Critical Software
Location: Aberdeen, Scotland
Contract: Initial 6 months
Working arrangement: Hybrid, with potential for remote working, TBC

We're looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join an established in-house engineering team on an initial 6-month contract.
The project involves developing a desktop application that will be used alongside a medical device, so we're particularly interested in developers with previous experience in medical device software or other safety-critical environments.
Key skills
- Strong Rust development experience
- Strong C# experience
- JavaScript
- HTML/CSS
- SQL
- Medical and/or safety-critical software experience
- Networking experience, ideally at a low level
Desirable
- Full-stack web development
- Tauri and/or Electron
- Previous experience developing software specifically for medical devices
This would suit a senior, hands-on developer who is comfortable working across the stack and collaborating closely with an existing engineering team.
